This week has been good. I did however miss one workout – I was exhausted and needed the rest. So I took it. Today is not much of an update but rather important things I’ve learnt since starting my health and fitness journey to help make each day fulfilling and joyful – and I wanted to share it with you.
Choose something fun to do. It is very important to choose an activity that brings you real joy because exercising isn’t easy.
Eat Good Food
Make good food choices. Not all healthy foods are bland or tasteless. Try different recipes and flavours and choose those that please you. Have fun with your food too.
When starting any exercise remember to focus on getting the move right rather than keeping up.
Listen To Your Body
When it tells you to slow down, eat less, sleep more, run, walk, crawl. Do it because you need to and not because you think you should. Listen to what your body is really saying and you will feel much better.
Everything In Moderation
Life wouldn’t be fun if we never allowed ourselves to enjoy what it has to offer – but everything in moderation. Think positively and treat yourself to something special at least once a week.
