I have learnt the hard way to accept who I am as I am — this includes all of my strong parts and my weak parts my ever changing feelings and roller coaster emotions too.
Getting to know myself over the years proved to be the hardest thing in the world but yet so worth it in the end.
Forgiving myself for all the mistakes I have made with family friends siblings and children and to see those mistakes as opportunities to learn and grow.
“There are many paths to enlightenment as there are people. Empowering yourself is one of those paths and each person who practices it will walk the path in their own way. No one person owns it because it has been given to all of us as part of the essence of our being” – Louise Hay
My journey was a long and difficult one but as I began to release my old negative way of dealing with issues in my life started to change for the better. Most of us know how to change our lives, but getting around to doing it seems to be so hard. That is because we are caught up in our negative routine rut and as we go from day to day we resign ourselves to what our lives have become. Nothing changes until you take a good hard and honest look at yourself and your situation and ask yourself “What is it about me that has turned my life into this, and what can I take responsibility for?”
During my struggle to be where I am today I have learnt many lessons along the way. My main aim and purpose in life is to make things happen that I never thought I could. To realise my dreams I have had to believe in myself and make my own opportunities. With love for myself and a connection to my Source all things became possible.
Know Thyself and don’t depend on the acceptance of others to make you feel good.
