Happy Thursday, everyone! The past few days has been insanely fun filled! Lunch dates with my sisters, a new hair colour, photoshoots, family chats, shopping and a lot of cuddles from my baby brother. As for September, it feels like it went by in a second! None the less, I am so excited for the new month. October is a very special month for me. It is the month that Amraj and I met for the first time – five years ago. This month I am also excited to introduce a new segment to Dhillondeeds – My Monthly Goals. The beginning of each month I will talk about my goals for that month and all the things I want to achieve. I’ve seen other bloggers do this and I’ve finally decided to hop on the bandwagon. To help me stay focused and goal orientated I can’t think of a better way than to write it all down. Now, I am naturally obsessed with organisation and making all kinds of lists to ensure that things fall into place but for some odd reason I haven’t ever done it for my personal goals – mentally maybe, but never physically. So, I am super excited to get this ball rolling and I would love for all of you to join me.
This month’s goals, here it goes:
Quit drinking fizzy drinks, cut down on my sugar intake and drink more water!
I want to learn how to do manicures and stop biting my nails.
I need to focus on getting fit again. My goal is to exercise for 30 minutes a day. It is a fairly reasonable goal.
I would like to do more private prayers, mediation, yoga and quiet reflections.
There is so much I want to achieve for the blog but this month I want to focus on improving my photography skills and produce better images for the blog.
I want to stick to my budget and I want to spent less money.
I know it is going to be tough trying to kick an age long habit as well as get my health and fitness but on track but I am excited to try. So, October please be good to me.
